PHP Help

Versión para imprimir | Translate this page

Dreamweaver CS3 and CS4/ Windows.

This extension installs the PHP Manual in CHM format with two options to use it:

The first one is a button installed in the "PHP" tab within the insertbar.

The second option is right-click your mouse button. In the contextual menu you will find:"PHP Function Reference...". Select it and the help will be opened.

In both cases, if you have previously selected a function name, the page where that function is explained will automatically be  opened.

If your selection is not a function name, a prompt message will you inform about it and will ask if you still want to open the PHP Manual

Thanks to French site FlashXpress, there's also a tutorial about how this extension works in French

Current version 7.1.0 (updated April 21, 2009):

 • Support for PHP 5 new Functions and fixed bug affecting location at 'Commands' Menu
 • Bug Fixed: The icon is shown again in the insertbar (thanks to Mark Banks for noticing it)
 • New Feature: The command to install/Upgrade the chm file is launched automatically if there's no help file available (for example, the first time you run the extension).
 • Version 7.0.0 is Windows Vista compatible: It will install the required files outside DW's install path and will use the user Configuration folder instead (avoiding restrictions to install/update the chm files)
 • Version 7.1.0 fixes the hh.exe problem. However, you won't be able to upgrade the chm file included with the extension
Version Compatibilities
Dreamweaver MX PHP Help 5.0.2 (Discontinued due to issues with current chm files from php.net)
Dreamweaver MX 2004
Dreamweaver 8
Dreamweaver CS3 / CS4 PHP Help 7.1.0 (Download, 6MB)

(Notice: You will have to remove previous version if you are upgrading).

Version 7.1.0 has the chm file included, please read the post in my blog explaining the reasons for this.

31.- E Ink is much better for rednaig. (Try to get an E Ink Pearl rather than an E Ink Vizplex ereader Pearl provides 50% better contrast.) Reading from E Ink is like rednaig from paper. Reading from LCD, on the other hand, is like rednaig from a computer monitor.E Ink speed and lack of color make it worse for apps, games, and web browsing, though..

32.- try and get an e-ink type book reader?I have a frnied going to china. And I have asked her to try and get an e-ink type book reader. But in the 9 or 10 inch size.I would like her to spend about $150.I know there is an Asus DR-900. I think that would be too expensive.Anyone know of an e-ink type reader 9 or 10 inches for $150 or less? http://nfbipii.com vimefh [link=http://vpxapku.com]vpxapku[/link]

33.- Hi Joel,We appreciate your cnoemmt and encourage you to use the tuition assistance application form. Deadline for submission is July 15. One of the issues we are dealing with regarding afercare options at Logan is that DC One, currently at Watkins, is not expanding and won't be able to come to Logan. In addition, CHML is not a Title One school and hence not eligible for certain grants. We therefore encourage everybody to apply for tuition assistance.Regards,Ulrike

34.- Which e-book reader suolhd I get?I am planning to buy an e-book reader, could someone refer me to a site that has information on e-book readers or just give me some suggestions. I want one that uses e-ink and allows me to read books downloaded from not so appropriate sources. I will not need any kind of connectivity except for a USB port because I don't plan on downloading stuff from the online store or anything.

35.- Wanted to know one thing. Is it that DITA is so powerful that evorybedy is learning or talking about it? Or is it that there is a feeling that you are not a modern technical writer since you do not know DITA? Or is it that only a few seems to understand XML and DITA (even learning the C langauge looks easier than learning DITA), and other pariahs cannot? http://jnigkbcupit.com ynhuvnehaso [link=http://nlvnyjwmen.com]nlvnyjwmen[/link]
